job responsibilities:

Provide legal advisory on corporate matters, contracts, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Serve as the primary legal contact for real estate transactions, including acquisition, development, leasing, and sales.
Ensure compliance with property development regulations, zoning laws, and other legal requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with stakeholders, contractors, vendors, and clients.
Ensure all contracts comply with legal standards and company policies.
Support corporate governance, including board resolutions, shareholder agreements, and statutory filings.
Collaborate with finance, operations, and project management teams to align legal strategies with business goals.
Build and maintain relationships with regulators, external counsel, and key stakeholders.

job requirements:

Educational Background: Bachelor's in Law, having a related professional certification is highly preferred.
Minimum 5 years as Corporate Legal Counsel in established corporations, background in property law is a plus.
Proven experience in drafting, negotiating, managing contracts and agreements with strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. Including contracts for buying, selling, leasing, land acquisition, and construction.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with property development and financial services industries is preferred.
