The Partnership with Geonet
Geonet appointed Inspiral as lead architect for ELLE Resort & Beach Club Bali. The practice is responsible for the architectural vision behind the resort's organic forms, flowing rooflines and natural material palette.
Inspiral also features the project within its own hospitality portfolio as ELLE Beach Club and Resort, outlining the concept, masterplan and design direction for the resort, residences and beach club.
The architect shapes how the entire destination functions. This includes the arrangement of the buildings, the relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces, the location of pools and hospitality venues, access to natural light, coastal views and the materials used throughout the development.
Inspiral leads the architectural design. Colliers provides independent project management and oversees how the project is delivered.

The Architectural Vision
Inspiral's design brings together hospitality, entertainment and relaxation within a connected beachfront destination. The architecture responds to the coastline through sweeping forms, open views, natural materials and spaces designed around the tropical environment.
The masterplan is organised around three main zones. The resort is positioned to maximise elevated ocean views. The residences are oriented towards landscaped gardens and pools. The beach club becomes the active beachfront centre of the development, and is planned as the first phase to open. Existing mature trees are retained where possible and incorporated into the wider landscape design.
A sweeping organic roofline helps soften the scale of the resort and connect the building with its coastal setting. A large central pool creates space for swimming, relaxing and socialising throughout the day, while a private collection of two-level beach club suites sits within landscaped surroundings, using rounded forms, natural materials and detailed latticework.
The beach club forms the social centre. A sculptural canopy extends across the venue, taking visual cues from the movement of the sea. Lagoon-style pools, a poolside bar, open-air dining and an upper-level air-conditioned lounge create different experiences across the day and evening.

The Inspiral Approach
Inspiral brings together local knowledge, international experience and practical construction thinking. Its work combines traditional techniques with modern systems, balancing design quality with environmental performance and long-term usability.
The practice works with natural ventilation, building orientation, thermal mass, shading, water reuse, renewable energy and lower-impact materials where appropriate.

Each project begins with the client's objectives. Inspiral develops the design around how the building needs to function, feel and perform, while keeping the process flexible as the project develops.

Why the Architect Matters
The architect does more than define the appearance of a property. Architectural decisions influence the guest experience, operational flow, use of space, environmental performance and the number of commercial areas available within the resort.
Room layouts, restaurants, pools, beach club areas and guest facilities all begin with the architectural plan. These decisions define what the resort can offer when it opens.
Inspiral's portfolio includes beach clubs, resorts and destination restaurants. The practice has previously designed the types of spaces being brought together within ELLE Resort & Beach Club.
The studio and its leadership team are based in Bali. This gives Inspiral direct access to the project, local consultants and the construction environment.
Inspiral lists 34 recognitions from named industry organisations between 2013 and 2026, including three Prix Versailles UNESCO citations.
Its previous projects include rammed-earth construction, locally sourced bamboo, passive cooling, water reuse and renewable energy systems.
Inspiral's published philosophy focuses on efficient planning, durable materials and avoiding short-term savings that may create higher replacement or operating costs later.
Architecture, structural design, building services and interior design are available through one practice, supporting coordination across different parts of the building.
Inspiral leads the architecture. Colliers provides independent project management and oversees project delivery. The design and oversight responsibilities remain separate.
