Across fashion, culture, and lifestyle, ELLE has spent decades (80 years to be exact!) shaping how people live, travel, and engage with design, with ELLE and ELLE decor issues on millions of news stands worldwide.
That influence is now increasingly taking physical form. Over the last few years, ELLE has built a growing global real estate and hospitality portfolio through hotels, cafés, branded residences, and resort hospitality.
ELLE Residences are currently in development, with recent launches in Miami and Dubai, and new announcements for São Paulo and Taormina, bringing the brand into premium residential markets in major international cities. At the same time, ELLE’s hospitality footprint continues to expand. Maison ELLE boutique hotels operate in Paris and Amsterdam.
Additionally the brand extends throughout ELLE salons in Osaka, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Hyderabad, and ELLE Cafés have launched across Saudi Arabia, Türkiye, Pattaya, and Phuket.
Taken together, these projects show a brand moving decisively into hospitality and real estate as a long-term focus.
That global momentum is what makes the launch of ELLE Resort & Beach Club Bali so significant.
Bali will be home to the first ELLE-branded resort anywhere in the world. Positioned on the beachfront in Seminyak, the resort marks ELLE’s entry into large-scale leisure hospitality.
“Launching the first ELLE resort anywhere in the world is a major moment. ELLE is already building a strong global presence across residences, hotels, and cafés, and that momentum builds with their entrance into the Bali market,” says Geonet CEO Chad Egan.” Bali is one of the world’s most popular lifestyle destinations, and this project is designed to sit confidently on that global stage.”
Design plays a central role in shaping the ELLE resort experience. The project brings together Inspiral Architects, and the interior design teams of Conran and Partners, and Tristan du Plessis Studio — studios known for delivering distinctive hospitality and lifestyle projects globally.
“This project is about translating the ELLE brand into something tangible, a place that feels luxurious, authentic, and deeply connected to its setting,” adds Egan. “That’s why we’ve engaged some of the world’s leading designers. This is a resort designed to be noticed globally, while still feeling true to Bali and the lifestyle that draws people here.”
The Bali resort sits within ELLE’s broader vision to extend its lifestyle authority into hospitality and real estate. That direction has been set by Anne Billaz, who has spoken openly about growing ELLE into a global platform that includes physical destinations.
The timing of ELLE’s expansion also aligns with a wider shift across global travel.
Fashion and hospitality are increasingly intersecting. Fashion-branded hotels and residences are now established in cities such as Dubai, Milan, Rome, Tokyo, and Macau, with brands like Armani, Bulgari, Versace, and Fendi translating fashion identity into hospitality environments. Alongside permanent hotels, fashion houses are shaping travel experiences through spa takeovers, beach clubs, and curated hotel activations from brands including Dior, Burberry, Jacquemus, and Missoni.
Travellers are increasingly drawn to destinations with a clear sense of style and personality, places that feel designed rather than generic. Fashion brands bring a strong point of view to hospitality, making them a natural fit for experience-led travel.

As ELLE continues to roll out residences, cafés, hotels, and future hospitality projects worldwide, Bali marks the starting point of its resort portfolio as a beachfront destination shaped by fashion, design, and lifestyle.
