We’re excited to share a major progress update on The Wylder, our upcoming luxury lifestyle hotel set to redefine experiential stays in Bali. This is a significant update. The Wylder has reached multiple major milestones.

We’ve Submitted for PBG! - What this Milestone Really Means

This is Indonesia’s formal building approval process and marks the transition from design coordination into structured government review. PBG is not a simple permit, it requires full integration of architectural, structural, MEP, fire, safety, environmental, and compliance documentation.

Submission confirms that:

  • All consultants are fully coordinated
  • Designs meet Indonesian national standards
  • Engineering documentation is complete
  • The project has entered the formal regulatory timeline toward construction

This milestone significantly reduces development risk. We are now operating within defined government review frameworks, providing clarity and predictability as we move toward groundbreaking.

With PBG now submitted, the next milestones are already mapped:

  • Q2 2026: Construction goes to tender
  • End Q2/ Early Q3 2026: Main contractor selection announced
  • Q3 2026: Site preparation and pre-construction
  • Q4 2026: PBG received and construction starts

This is a major step forward for us in The Wylder’s lifecycle.

SONO Hotels & Resorts – A Strategic Upgrade for Operations

Last month, the Geonet management team travelled to South Korea to visit the headquarters of SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia, following their acquisition of Cross Hotels & Resorts. For us, this represents a significant upgrade in operator strength.

SONO Hotels & Resorts Asia is wholly owned by SONO International, one of South Korea’s largest hospitality groups, operating over 14,500 rooms across 7 countries. Beyond hospitality, SONO also owns T’way Air, strengthening its integrated travel ecosystem.

The group currently manages 16 hotels across Thailand and Indonesia and has more than 12 properties in its development pipeline through 2029. Their approach is vertically integrated, covering project sourcing, planning, design support, pre-opening, and long-term operations.

For The Wylder and its investors, this means:

  • Greater operational depth
  • Stronger regional brand power across Asia
  • Increased distribution and travel ecosystem access
  • The support of a hospitality powerhouse

We look forward to sharing more content and insights into SONO’s operational plans for Bali and how this will benefit The Wylder in the coming months.

Investment Sales Launching in March

Geonet will officially launch Wylder investment sales in March, structured via leasehold agreements.

Wylder has been designed as a revenue-diversified lifestyle hotel, generating income across:

  • Accommodation
  • Food and beverage
  • Wellness and retail
  • Entertainment and on-site amenities

Sales and marketing campaigns are now being finalised, and we look forward to formally opening this next chapter.

Locavore Partnership Confirmed

We are proud to confirm that Locavore has signed an MOU to become Wylder’s food and beverage partner.

Locavore is one of Bali’s most respected and internationally recognised hospitality groups. Their reputation for innovation, sustainability, and culinary excellence aligns perfectly with Wylder’s positioning as a design-led lifestyle destination.

In modern lifestyle hotels, food and beverage is not an accessory — it is a core revenue engine and brand activator. Securing a partner of this calibre is a strong endorsement of the project and significantly strengthens the commercial foundation of Wylder.

Mock-up Room Construction Underway

We will soon commence construction of Wylder’s full-scale mock-up room at Geonet headquarters. Led by Mitchell & Eades, this phase allows us to test materials, finishes, detailing, lighting, and construction methods before full rollout.

This reduces build risk, ensures quality control, and allows refinements prior to mass production. It also gives investors and future partners the opportunity to experience the Wylder concept physically, rather than through renderings alone.
