Something exciting is happening in Berawa!
The Wylder has officially reached another important step, with site clearance now completed and preparations underway for the next phase of development.
After years of planning, design workshops, consultant coordination, regulatory work, and partnership development, investors can now begin to see the physical transformation of the site itself.
Designed as an active lifestyle hotel in the heart of Berawa, The Wylder will combine hospitality, wellness, entertainment, dining, social spaces, and multiple integrated revenue streams into one modern lifestyle destination.

“These are really exciting moments for the team,” said Chad Egan.
“After years of planning, design development, partnerships, and regulatory work, we’re now beginning to see the site physically transform. The Wylder is being designed as a true lifestyle destination for Bali — immersive, design-led, and built around experience.”
“We encourage investors, clients, and supporters to visit the site over the coming months and watch the progress firsthand. There’s something very special about seeing these projects come to life on the ground.”

Behind the scenes, major progress continues across design and technical coordination.
This month, the project team, consultants, and designers completed a major facade and material workshop for The Wylder, reviewing exterior finishes, roofing systems, and construction detailing as the project moves closer toward contractor mobilisation.
A key milestone from the workshop was the confirmation of the proposed roof system, which has now been technically approved as both structurally safe and aligned with the project’s architectural vision. The final composition combines steel framing, bamboo rafters, fibre cement board, waterproofing systems, and Geotech shingles — selected for their durability, clean finish, and suitability for Bali’s tropical climate.
Conwood remains the leading facade material choice for The Wylder, while the design team continues refining detailing for the building’s curved architectural elements. Current workshops are focused on how materials, edges, and transitions will come together on the final facade, ensuring the project maintains the sculptural and organic look developed during the design phase while remaining practical for construction and long-term maintenance.

Following the confirmation of Locavore Group as The Wylder’s food and beverage partner, the Geonet team recently visited the incredible Locavore NXT space in Ubud for a behind-the-scenes experience and podcast recording with the culinary team.
Locavore was recently recognised as the #44 Best Restaurant in Asia by Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants, reinforcing its position as one of Indonesia’s most exciting and respected hospitality brands.
The discussion explored hospitality, creativity, dining culture, and the future of experience-driven food and beverage in Bali. The group will bring concepts of Nusantara and Night Rooster to The Wylder.
In modern lifestyle hotels, food and beverage is becoming one of the biggest drivers of guest experience and commercial success. Locavore Group’s involvement continues to strengthen The Wylder’s positioning as a true lifestyle destination.
With physical works now underway, The Wylder is entering an exciting new chapter, and it’s time to formally introduce the project to the market.
